  1. I am one of those avid cyclists that rides on our streets. It is a travesty that the City of VB has as few bike lanes on our roads as it does. Walking paths do not work for cyclists that are doing 20+ miles an hour. Only dedicated lanes work. You ought to see all of the bike lanes that are in San Diego or Orlando or even in Richmond. As a tourist destination the lack of bike lanes in VB is pathetic. Adding bike lanes along Atlantic Ave from 83rd Street to Rudee Inlet, then down General Booth Blvd to DamNeck Rd and then from Dam Neck Rd up London Bridge/Great Neck Rd would connect the bike lanes on Shore Drive and Dam Neck Rd thus creating a 30 mile loop within Va Beach.
